Congratulations on your new Lady!

The entire 3900 series are delightful little carry guns and perhaps some of the most underrated pistols around today.

I have a Lady Smith also and your description of the trigger closely matches mine. Heavy but very smooth. Mine ejects casings into a tidy pile 6-8 ft from the gun. I've shot many different types of loads with nary a problem.

I agree with WaterburyBob, it is likely someone swapped out the original gray grips. I believe the original LS guns all had gray. In any event, the black looks fine on your gun and she looks to be in terrific condition.

IIRC, all the LS models came with the decocker on the left side only. The standard 3913 had the lever on both sides.
