The Glock will always be known as the standard by which all polymer pistols are judged. Although I think the Glock is a very reliable pistol and has an excellent track record for longevity, I find it hard to believe that one went to 500,000 rounds.

The M&P is quickly becoming known as a good polymer pistol. In my opinion it has the best ergonomics and accuracy of any of the other pistols in it's class.
