JS&W,

Great buy! I agree the Sears Model 25 is "Head and Shoulders" better quality wise than a Ruger 10/22, much less money to boot! I shudder to think what the price would be if this rifle was made today, probably $400 or more.

I am really liking mine, I think the example I got hadn't been broken in, the trigger has smoothed considerably since I got it a few months ago. I've probably put 750 rounds through it since I got it, no malfunctions and I'm getting pretty darn good with it. I would love to beat a snobby Anschutz shooter with it....
