New member proud of my .32 TB / help??!
Hello folks,
New to the forum here. Would like to share my heirloom S&W .32 Top break and ask for input as to its positive ID, from you who know. I suspect it may be a 2nd Model? It has a pinned (not forged) fore sight, but has not a trace of zinc plating, so I wonder if it ever had any... It's clean and in solid working condition. Not sure if I should try to fire it, but would sure like to if safe to do so. If anyone cares to help me ID and date it, and offer any other comments, I'd be most grateful. Serial # is 307XXX. This little gem has inspired me to research and step into collecting fine firearms, so, glad to be here! Thanks. Sam in Louisiana
