I enjoy my 5946 and don't think the trigger is too bad, of course I shoot my HK USP pistol double action first shot and that is a tough trigger so I don't mind the Smith at all. I don't carry it so weight is not a factor. I just think it makes a great nightstand gun. Love mine.
