My friend Larry, formerly of "Larry's Casketeria", was in the business of selling caskets before he became disabled and couldn't do it anymore. The funeral homes in this state are required to use a casket not purchased from them if the deceased persons family decides that's what they want to do. A casket is probably the biggest expense of a funeral and the funeral directors did not like Larry at all because he was selling caskets that were as good or better than those purchased from the funeral home for thousands of dollars less.
