Hi ycr this is what i load for my Model 53.
First off clean brass if dirty make sure you use a good lub on the cases before depriming and sizing the brass.
Second i trim my brass to 1.278" because there tapered they will stretch over time and makes ejecting the empty cases much easier after firing.

The recipe i use is 11.3 grs. of H-110 pushing a Hornady .222" 40 gr.Jet #2210 .22 Caliber Bullet with Winchester Small Mag or Regular Pistol Primers this load works good for me i,m hitting Silhouettes at 100 yards with ease. I use rubbing alcohol to clean bullets and the cylinder before each shoot and haven't had any issues of it locking up. Have fun enjoy loading this round Rick...
