You do need to post pics if you can, but if the pre-29 does in fact have the correct box and tools in decent shape, the grips dont have any dings or chips in them, then I would say roughly $2500. That is my opinion on what one of these guns should top at. On auction it could go either way depending on the bidders. I think you are going to start seeing prices come down a little as there have been quite a few sold recently and the people who wanted one bad enough to pay more have already done it.

I am assuming of course your gun is a 4 screw based on the serial number you listed. I would also expect your gun shipped in 1957 though one never knows about Smith.

BTW Cokes were never numbered to the gun as they were not a fitted part like magna's. Some target grips were numbered, but only the ones that came on the 1950 and 1955 Target guns AFAIK
