Great explanation of why and what you need to do with loaded mag's. Keeping them clean is something a lot of people don't think about. When you shoot bullseye, a lot, you can have feeding problems if you don't keep your mag's clean. .22's more so than center fire's due to the "blow back" operation.

I keep a 469 loaded in my desk drawer, along with a couple 1911's "around the house", and I make it a point to take them out for exercise at least once a year.
