I recently acquired this 29-2, with pinned 8 and 3/8-inch barrel, recessed chambers, and wide target trigger. No box or papers. Serial number dates it to 1980. The grips are not original to the gun, but are from the same time period and look pretty good on her, if I say so myself. Have not taken it to the range yet but looking forward to doing so -- the trigger breaks very cleanly at what feels like a pound or less in single action, and has real nice, smooth consistent pull in double action. It balances nicely with that long barrel, too.
