Agreed! Friend of mine who works in a gun shop somehow caught the grip of his Fobus holstered 1911 on the edge of a door frame and ripped the holster off the paddle. Buy a belt holster and save yourself some grief. A good pancake style will last a long time. Run a search, there are a BUNCH of great ones you'll run across on the Forum.
