OK, I'll behave. On a serious note, I have found that the length of pull becomes a non-issue after I have been shooting a while at the range. I guess I just get used to it. Of course, I don't participate in one-round-per-minute or Bullseye-type shooting with my SW40F, but I use if for more of align-the-sights-and-squeeze-now shooting. I find the Sigma to be more than willing and groups with this shooting to be quite acceptable. My SW40F and I passed the CHL course, which let me know this gun is good enough for practical purposes.

Now, don't tell anyone I suggested this, but you might want to look around for a good used 3rd generation metal-frame S&W and see what you think of their trigger action. First round DA is not quite as long as the Sigma, and the following SA mode is really short and crisp.

CAUTION: you may find that you start collecting more guns....
