Here's my 15-22 witha 3-9 x 50MM. It's mounted in medium rings on an AR riser with a quick release weaver mount. The centerline of the scope is exactly on the centerline of the iron sights. You don't need to pick your head up, or push your cheek into your stock. Just hold and shoot the same as always. The eye relief is ideal, compare it to the charging handle. That 50MM objective sure pulls in the details and a lot of light. The 50 yard targets don't stand a chance. Get them here

As you can see it clears the Hogue forearm by about 1/2". The stock quad rail is about 1/4' closer
