I purchased a plug for my Model 22 a few months back, and am just now getting around to having the time to install it. I now see that there is also some type of "clip" in the photos that I didn't notice the first time looking at the thread. None came with the plug. Is that needed? FWIW - my plans are to gut all parts including the flag. Not being at all familiar with the innards of a SW revolver - this is all new turf to me, so any & all input would be greatly appreciated
