Hi, all

I just finished cleaning my SW40VE tonite, so I thought this thread was timely.
I have owned mine long enough I bought it before the AWB sunsetted (10 years old?), and it has always been perfectly reliable.
I said I just finished cleaning it, I should add for the first time in 2 years or so. I have just been shooting and lubing it, the carbon was rock hard inside the slide, and it was running like a charm when I fired it last.
These are good guns, I only wish mine had a black slide.
The worst thing about these guns? You will never get your money back out of it, so you better plan on keeping it.
The best thing is, you can buy a Sigma, holster, etc, and still be under the price of any other quality auto.

Andy

P.S. Don't put oil in the magazines. Disassemble the magazines and make sure they are clean, there may be some protectant oil/grease inside the magazines from the factory. Oil or grease in the mags will just attract dirt.
