Why no locks? A lot of folks seem to avoid these, but if you don't like them they are easy to remove.
I actually did have one break in a 642. It locked up the action of the gun when held in certain orientations. I was putting some Doubletap loads through it that pushed 125 gr at 1100 fps though. I removed it and have been shooting ever since.
