One crossed my driveway last year and kept going into the woods. yesterday, my wife and son were playing in the driveway while i was coiling up the garden hose. I catch movement to my right, and a full grown black bear is passing through my property, maybe 10 yards away! I grab the wife and my son and run into the house ...
I am also going to pick up a cannister of bear spray, and instruct my wife to have it with her while she's outside.
