Default Memorial Day M & P

This 38 Special, isn't that special, they made thousands of them, yet the original owner would qualify as "special". His name was Don Frazier. In 1916, he went to work for the Forest Service as a forest guard at the Bull Run Oregon National Forest. In 1917, he entered military service, aviation section, US Army. In March 1918, he sailed to England, where he was stationed at the North Holt Aerodrome. Not long after, he was struck by an airplane propeller which he had been working on and was killed instantly. At 6'7", he was one of a few men, it was said, that could turn an airplane prop in order to start the engine by himself. Just a bit of history behind the gun that we don't often get. Serial # 2702XX 1915 or 1916.
