no, a gun store on Long Island was banned by NYPD in the late 80's for that. I guess they would sell so many more 64's with the stamp since the stock version was not authorized. The actions were horrrible. You see they sent out the frames or did it in house to put a bogus stamp, then mixed up the yokes and cylinders upon re assembly making action with alot of binding. so many got turned down by the range, they stopped authorizing all sales from that store. I witnessed a bunch at Rodmans Neck range.
They took advantage to alot of young officers.
