BHJxxx works out to 1991-92, the -1's ceased in 1977. I highly doubt that gun is a -1 unless it was laying on the shelf at the factory for 14 years.
As pharmer mentioned, the strike ended up off the frame.
The "frosted" look came towards the end of production also, early NY-1's were the standard brushed stainless.
