I regularly carry a Sig P220 in a pancake holster in in front of the right hip. It conceals well for me but I am 6'2" and 220 lbs. I carry it because its the .45 acp pistol that I shoot the best with. Being an old veteran, I like the .45 acp for self defense. I also carry a 5" Kimber Raptor at times. I find that I just shoot those guns better than the little .45's so the additional size and weight are worth the trouble.
