The smallest is not usually the best at least for me. I find that slightly larger guns that allow a full grip draw better and index better in the hand. The smallest I will go is 3913/457. In my opinion you might as well carry a larger gun rather than a smaller one as long as it conceals. Weight differences are usually small in these alloy or plastic framed guns. Also, I find that I can't conceal Glocks as well as Third Gen guns because of the shape of the slide on the Glocks when carried at 3:30 with a good degree of forward cant.
