I saw that Bud's had a 3" 686 for less than the first price I saw one for....under $700. I didn't know the pic I posted of the 586 was ported. I'm not sure I'd want that feature. I can imagine in low light or worse it would look like a mad bull snorting-fire blasting out each side. I think I'd rather have one without the porting.
I did find another photo of another one but can't tell if it's ported or not due to the angle of the photo. Are all of them Comp pistols or is this just with the Performance group? Bud's $859 seems a bit steep for a used gun but, I don't know what they originally cost. I thought it strange they mentioned in the write up that it included three moon clips?
