I just bought the same SW model 686 w/3 inch barrel with the nice looking wooden grip. I've put 200 rounds thru it to date. It is an excellent handgun. I would highly recommend it. I also have a 4 inch version. I am relatively new to the handgun world. You will like the 686 w/3inch barrel. Enjoy. I paid $ 775.
