That is a good question. The L-Comp was made with a ported barrel. It came in several variations. My current L-Comps are all six-shooters but my first one was a seven-shooter. My only complaint is that it is hard to properly clean the compensator. Someone here may have a trick to make it easier. They are very enjoyable to shoot because the comp does work with hot loads. In fact, it works best with hot loads. I can't tell that they are any more accurate than a bone stock L-frame but it does say "Performance Center" on the frame.

I noticed both of yours are the keyless variety. that was a bad move IMO, on S&W's part. No one I know of likes them at all.
I wouldn't mind the Comp but I can't help thinking what a noise it would make indoors and all the bright flash from the ports. That's my one big beef with Comp guns. Even the ones Magnaported years ago didn't catch my eye.
