Here are a few that I have accumulated over the years. The .22 cal. boxes are of unknown maker, either Badger or Al Freeland I presume and are made of cedar. The Hamilton Zip Set appears to be mahogany and the A&F .38 Wadcutter box is walnut.


The quality of manufacturing and precision inletting of the Zip Set is impressive. I have done searches for the manufacturer Lyco Products of South San Francisco CA and found nothing. I'm guessing a mid-1950's manufacturing period ?


Here's a close up of what is left of the Abercrombie & Fitch decal that was on top of the .38 Wadcutter box


The .38 Wadcutter box will only hold loaded rounds with the bullet seated flush with the case mouth, clearly a Bullseye target shooter's accessory
