Production numbers of S&W revolvers tend to affect prices only of guns with collector interest, which doesn't include most modern guns. I've owned several revolvers from production runs of less than 150, including the 3" 625-6 I currently shoot, but none seem to sell for prices higher than their more numerous siblings. Your best bet for researching sales prices is gunbroker.com. Don't worry about asking prices. Look at actual sales prices.

+1 on what he said plus both Lew Horton and S&W distributed those guns and I haven't seen how many of the 8,000 produced were sold by whom. So unless the Lew Horton revolver has special markings on the gun it would be really hard to tell.
