Speaking of no dash 617's with the 8 3/8" barrel, how uncommon are these? I saw one posted in the classifieds and the seller indicated they were hard to find, sure, it may be advertising on his part, but I figured he was probably right. I have one with the factory wood combats and as one who likes shooting long barreled revolvers, it's one of my favorite .22's to shoot. Just wondering if it's another run-of-the-mill smith or it is a relatively rare gun.
