You might find that you like the Vit powders. Just don't try to hot rod the 340. If you want to hot rod it go to N110. It's a fantastic powder for true magnum loads. The 340 is fine for the .38 special pressure range and a bit higher. Another thing is it burns cooler. A friend uses 320 and 340 for his IDPA loads. The reason is that the Vit powders don't heat up the gun as much. He can get through a 350 round practice session a good bit faster than with other powders. Not as much time waiting for the gun to cool off.
