OK trenchgun, here is one grip lovers story. While scrolling the listings of a large gun dealer I was smitten by the grips on this Smith. I wasn't looking for and didn't need another .44 mag. I noticed the listing stated, " the one in the photo may not be the exact one you get. But you will get the same make and model." I called the dealer and told him if he had the Smith in the photo I would buy it. He said they had sold several but he would go and see if it was still in the inventory.
