A trick on GB told to me by a dealer friend is the cross bidding. A dealer sets up a new account and over bids on another dealer's gun. They do this back and forth to get people to believe that prices are going up. Then under another account the same model gun is placed for sale with a buy it now price. The sucker looking to buy saw 2-3 auctions go for 2K and grabs the buy it now at $1,500.
