Model 57 fired at the factory. The pawn shop had it listed as a Model 41. I walked out the door with it for $500.

Very nice collection. $500.00 for that absolutely beautiful blued 57 is a true steal/felony. You should turn it over to me for $550.00 to clear your conscience
. My 6" no dash 57 looked like that in it's presentation case back in 76. It looks a bit rougher but is my sentimental favorite S&W. Will take new pics of my tribe and post next week. Just added a 58 to replace the one I sold like an idiot in 85!
