I didnt know these guns had such a following. Glad to see it. I own both a S&W 1917 and a Colt 1917 and enjoy shooting both of them. I dont own anything I cant shoot. Most of the guns I own have started out a gunsmithing projects. I paid 125.oo for the Colt and the Smith has a good story behind it. Im afraid I havent learned how to post pictures yet,but I will. Also both gun are stripped of their finish at this time. Im doing a little make over on them at present. So when I post you might not drull over them, but you will(If you are a shooter)
