Here are a couple pics of a real 16 inch barrel M&P15 with a standard bayonet, over the bayonet barrel adapter. One pic is the standard A2 flash hider and the other is a muzzle brake.
The third pic is another adapter. It works, but....
corpulent, in the link you gave, they have a picture of the bayonet on a 16" barrel showing the muzzle ring well below the flash hider. Truth in advertising there. Ya just gotta look.
