I had Herter's catalogs every year from the late 60's to the mid 70's. Looked forward to them every year. A three page spread on the best hunting knife ever made. At the end it was $1.79. I ordered one once and it was a very bad chrome plated kitchen knife!
I bought most of there books too. Very entertaining back before color TV. I guess I left them when i got a divorce.
