I call them "investments" because wifey doesn't know any better and I hope she dont read this because as far as investing is concerned here is a fact that will put it all in perspective for ya'...
If you bought a Parker A-1 Special back in 1903 it would have cost around $1000.00 which of course was a hell of alot of money back in those days. Now fast forward to today and that same gun if it was sold would fetch around $200,000.00...take that same $1000 and invest it in Coca-cola in 1903 then fast forward to today and you would easily be a multi-billionaire. So no, guns are definately not a good investment and the fact is they never were as I understand the definition. All this "wisdom" coming from a guy who has a gun collection that exceeds $200K!! I should have taken that money and gotten myself a brain transplant, I could have been somebody!!!!
