It was one of my other S&W autos that I don't have a box for. I did have the box for the 1006 (stumble across it this p.m. looking for something else), and Remat457 is absolutely correct. My apologizes.

Product code stated on the box is: 105004.

Given the 1990-91 dates Remat listed in his last post, maybe S&W was producing alternating runs of fixed and adjustable sight 1006s for buyers who wanted different rear sight options, especially L.E. which typically prefers a fixed rear sight, ... and tritium sights at that.
