The Sigma is a good gun. The SD and the M&P apparently have some improvements, but I've never bothered to look at them. I've got a Sigma, my wife has a Glock 19. I used to have an XD-9 until I got bored with it and traded it off. I really couldn't tell you much difference in the three except the Sigma costs about half what the other two did. They might have been "better" but they sure weren't twice as good.

Whatever you get, it's not like you're going to marry it. If you don't like it, sell it and get something else. I do it all the time.
