Mostly -- You really don't have any idea what you're getting when you buy a new vehicle.
With CarFax and a thorough checkout, BEFORE you buy, you actually do know what you're buying with a used vehicle.
Sure *most* new cars are just wonderful. But a new lemon is a real headache and not as easy to get straightened out as it should be.
