Default Manufacture date of 629?
I am considering purchasing a model 629-4 from an on-line site. The owner reports the following numbers: 21346 264 is stamped on the right side of grip frame, N26 877 on left side of grip frame and CCK6822 on bottom of butt of grip frame. I understand that 629-4 were manufactured from 1994 to the present. This pistol has an 8 3/8's inch barrel with Hogue monogrips. Can anyone provide a more precise idea of the manufacture date?
