Sorry to hear that you're having this problem. No "jamming" is not typical and there's not really a break in period for these like there is a lot of guns. I always recommend a "Break In" for carry gun, but that is mostly making sure that everything is fine and your carry ammo feeds properly all the time.

I do know that some people have PMC issues with many makes and models of guns. My M&P Pro 5" has worked flawlessly with about 7000 rounds through it. I shoot mostly the Federal that walmart sells.
