Thanks for the very informative post! I have been grinding my own bits for 35 years, and your post has taught me a better method - thank you! I do have a drill press, a DP Vise and a square & calipers, and will order the wheel you suggested from Brownells.

Ever since I have fallen in love with Browning Shotguns those pesky thin screws have always been the hardest part of disassembly. So far I have managed NOT to bugger up the screw heads as I always check the bits I use before going at the screws. I actually use the Grace set of drivers on my A5, and have reground them enumerable amounts of times, but have recently purchased a large set of the Brownell Magna-Tips. There are times that even the so called correct bit for the screw is chosen, it still has to be tweaked a little for the best fit.

I do work on quite a few S&W's, Colt's & Browning's and find that the screwdriver bit of the proper fit makes all the difference in the world!
