Thats correct most people use a silencer in the UK even on airguns for hunting as the sound of gunshots can often lead to the police getting called and armed response units coming out at massive expense for someone legally shooting a rabbit on there land.
Not only that its better for hunting as the bangs scare everything away with a silencer you can plink a few rabbits without them even knowing about it hehe
