Default Ruger Redhawk .45 Colt with the 4.2" Barrel
Picked up an interesting Redhawk in .45 Colt. Interesting, due to it's barrel length at 4.2 inches.

By. going to 4.2" they are at the maximum length allowed for revolvers in IDPA and secondly they can export the guns into Canada. Ruger revolvers are quite popular up there for wilderness carry and now for shooting IDPA.

So Ruger is willing to go an extra 2 tenths of an inch for our Canadian brethren...

Thus, no longer making the gun Massachusetts compliant.

Go figure.
