Install the Apex Tactical RAM and that should solve your problem. I sent a M&P back to Smith and told them the reset wasn't there. They sent it back and the reset was the same. Get the RAM ($21.95 at Midwayusa). It takes a couple minutes to install and gives you and audible click and feel when the trigger resets. I have a RAM in all 3 of my M&P's.
