Skip the Apex RAM. The improvement in my pistol would have required scientific instruments to measure.

The Apex Duty/Carry spring set, on the other hand, produced a trigger very much to my tastes. My two year old M&P9 received a Burwell 4.75 pound trigger job early in her life, but the reset feel was very light. Even with the RAM kit it was imperceptible when wearing light, Nomex gloves.

The Duty/Carry spring set added less than half a pound to the weight but vastly improved the felt reset. The trigger return spring is stronger and the sear spring lighter than stock and the trigger can be "prepped" to the sear trip point without fear of a hair trigger release.

If you already have a good trigger job just get the springs; if you pistol is stock get the complete kit with the sear, etc. Apex has excellent videos on the web for installation.
