It stays put where it's set, but is loose enough to rattle. Anybody out there with an moe model that can verify this experience? I know there are two sizes of buffer tube, and that the faux buffer tube on the 15-22 is mil spec. I'm thinking I may have received the unit with a commercial size butt stock. Just a question. I can call S&W, but thought I'd check here first.
Welcome to the forum. The stock is very loose out of the box...some people were using tape as a shim to tighten them up a bit. IIRC it was a metal-type tape commonly used in HVAC applications. Mine rattled enough to drive me nuts heh
