If you're looking to add night sights, check out the Truglo TFO series. I have them on my XD and they are BRIGHT in daytime, and plenty bright at night. They have a combo of a tritium sight and a fiber optic tube. I'm planning to get them for my SD soon, since it's just the sights for the M&P.
