Default New S&W model 24-3 w/4"bbl 44 special

As usual I was at a local gun show. All I wanted was some ammo and to look over some rifles and pistols. I just had to walk by a dealers showcase when I spot a m24-3 with a 4" barrel in blue. Kinda grungy as when you shoot a revolver but don't clean it. But then it all stopped when I saw the 44 special
on the bbl. Been looking for one of these for years. serial number is abz1624. bore was full of leading so it was obvious no attempt had been made to clean it up for sale. Few minor scratches and some holster wear at the muzzle and a few other places, Honest wear I call it. Guess I'm going to start reloading
for this cartridge. The only problem that I can see is that the firing pin bushing has a couple dings in it and it appears the right side of the hammer is rubbing the frame. Does anyone have any cures for these problems short of sendiing back to S&W?.. Thanks, Frank
