I've always liked Smith&Wesson handguns, revolvers for the most part (Hi,I'm a K-Frame junkie) the M&P 15-22 has the controls where they should be and function as they should function.
I liked how the "walther colt" was a dead ringer for an M-4 carbine (only much lighter) but the take down was a hassle and a half, the controls didn't really work, and at the end of the day I wouldn't feel right walking around with a "Non-AR" AR if you follow.
The Colt was also $620.00 (local shop's price,I passed on the colt and bought a mossberg .410 instead for about half the price)
